Nursing care at Beaumont Manor Care Home in Frinton-on-Sea, Essex is provided 24 hours a day, seven days a week. People living with long-term health conditions and physical disabilities, or who have high-dependency needs can benefit from around-the-clock care from a team of excellent care professionals, as well as a homely atmosphere and a variety of facilities. 

In addition to Nursing Care, we also provide high standards of Dementia Care and Palliative Care. When it comes to recognising the needs of our residents, our nurses are fantastic and often go above and beyond the call of duty to ensure they receive the best care for them. They have the expert training and knowledge to recognise any changes in our residents’ health and to know when it’s important to consult a doctor and alter a resident’s care plan.

Nursing Care is designed for those in need of more complex medical support and personal care. Providing care to those with physical limitations and long-term health conditions, our expert care professionals are always available to help residents at all times of the day and night at our nursing home in Essex.

Our purpose-built home supports residents and their loved ones with long-term medical care and personal care, exceptional facilities, and services that are appropriate for older people living with complex medical conditions so that they can live comfortably and content in our warm and friendly environment.

At Beaumont Manor Care Home, we approach all care types from a person-centred perspective so you can rest assured that each and every resident receives a care plan that is totally tailored to suit them and their specific requirements.

Our Home Manager is supported by a team of certified nurses and care professionals, as well as being a nurse herself. Each resident is assigned a nurse who will very quickly become a familiar face at Beaumont Manor Care Home, answering any questions or concerns you or your family members may have.

In the event that your nurse is unavailable, another member of staff known as a key worker will look after you, ensuring that you always have a friendly face to chat to.

The type of Nursing Care offered by care homes and nursing homes can vary depending on the needs of the individual. Our team of nurses are also responsible for the coordination of our care with other healthcare providers and ensures that our residents receive the exact care that they need to maintain their health and wellbeing.

There are various signs to look out for which may indicate that a loved one needs nursing care:

  • Recent falls, accidents, hospitalisations, or emergency visits
  • Significant weight loss or changes in appetite
  • Difficulty performing activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal care such as bathing, dressing, or grooming
  • Increased confusion or forgetfulness

  • Need for specialised medical equipment or care, such as wound care or oxygen therapy

The nursing team here at Beaumont Manor can help assess the level of care that is needed and offer support and guidance on the most appropriate type of care for your loved one. It is essential to communicate openly with your loved one and ensure that they are involved in the decision-making process regarding their care if possible.

Beaumont Manor Care Home takes its responsibility to ensure the safety of its residents very seriously. We continuously ensure adequate staffing levels and that our nursing staff are properly trained and qualified. We also implement protocols for infection control and medication management and conduct regular safety audits and assessments. The safety and wellbeing of those in our care are important to us so security measures are in place to prevent unauthorised access and to protect our residents.

At Beaumont Manor Care Home, we require a 28-day notice period for residents receiving any of our long-term care types and are looking to move out. Our compassionate team are on hand around the clock to support you with your moving transition and answer any further questions you have.
