The Magic Mobii Table Fundraiser Continues
We are still continuing to raise as much as we can with a target of £7000 to purchase a Mobii Magic Table for the residents to enjoy at Beaumont Manor Care Home. The challenge continues as Mick Curnick, Kate the Home Managers Husband challenges himself to climb two mountains in Scotland in January 2022, Bidean Nam Bian in Glencoe part of the Three Sisters which is 1150 metres high and Ben Nevis which is 1345 metres high.
Thanks to the huge generosity we have already received enough to purchase the first part of our interactive table at a discounted price. Caitlin, the youngest member of staff has begun to teach the residents about technology with the Interactive Table. The residents enjoyed playing quizzes, painting and watching classic youtube clips that bring back fond memories. The residents also went back to 1970 for one resident to watch his favourite football team win an iconic match.
The possibilities are endless with the Magic Mobii Table and it brings so many opportunities to residents with all stages of Dementia. It is highly important to all of us that we raise the funds to purchase the complete set up of the Magic Mobii Table as it can provide our residents with a wide range of activities as well as encourage social interaction, emotional stability, positive mood, and physical effort for the residents at Beaumont Manor Care Home.
Our staff at Beaumont Manor Care Home go above and beyond to ensure our residents receive the highest quality of care. No matter how big and small the challenge may be, our dedicated staff members will do everything they can to achieve it to ensure our residents live a happy and fulfilled lifestyle.
