Resident’s Wish Is Granted

Our resident Ron, wish was to visit a spitfire as he had worked as an engineer in the RAF as a young man. Our home provides our residents with the opportunity to choose a wish and we make it happen.

This wish took a lot of planning, but we made it happen thanks to the generous staff at Duxford. Ron had the most amazing time getting up close and personal with the spitfire supported by Liz Mason our Head Housekeeper and our Nurse Sally Hornsby. It evoked many memories of Ron's younger days and it was fantastic to see Ron's face light up during the visit.

We strive to meet all of our resident's wishes and requests during their time with us at Beaumont Manor so that they can live a meaningful life and create memories that can be cherished for years to come.
