Cupcakes All Round!

We took part in Cupcake Day last week, an event established by the Alzheimer's Society - with the objective of raising money to give PhD researchers the opportunity to undertake vital, potentially lifesaving work.

Our Beaumont Manor 'Cupcakers' raised a fantastic £252.25 for the charity from tombola and baking, buying and eating tasty cupcakes.

Our residents and team had a fantastic day, welcoming family and the community to raise money for the charity - in a deliciously fun way. Activities included music and movement in the morning and Frankie playing live music on the baby grand piano in the afternoon.

Our home manager, Janet Beacham said, "We had a wonderful day raising money for a very important and relevant cause. We are proud of the effort everyone put into the event, in was great fun (and delicious).

"We're looking forward to many more social events and meeting more members of the community at Beaumont Manor."
