Another Resident’s Dream Comes True
The team at Beaumont Manor Care Home are delighted to have recently made another resident's dream come true when she wanted to attend the wedding of her granddaughter.
As part of our 'Making Dreams Come True' initiative, we have been helping many of our residents achieve their dreams and wishes, something we believe to be an integral part of the high-quality, person-centred care we provide to our residents.
One of our residents recently wished to attend the wedding of her granddaughter which was set to take place in Herefordshire. The team here at Beaumont Manor Care Home made this happen, which included the organisation of accessible travel as well as the accompaniment of one of our fantastic carers.
The wedding went exactly as they had planned and it was an amazing day for all involved. It gave our lovely resident the opportunity to catch up with many people who she had known for years. Our carer was also able to get dressed up and was very much included in all of the family celebrations.
"The amazing team at Beaumont Manor were instrumental in helping my Mum's dream come true. To attend the recent wedding of her granddaughter in Rochford, Hertfordshire. Beaumont Manor organised the wheelchair transport and one of Mum's amazing carers accompanied her to the wedding. Both were dressed in their beautiful wedding outfits and the carer was very much included in our family celebration.
Not only did my Mum have an amazing day, but her granddaughter had all her family in attendance on her big day, something that meant a lot to her and all the family. We cannot thank Beaumont Manor enough for their support to enable this to happen and for their ongoing care to Mum."
