A Very Special Tea Party
At Beaumont Manor Care Home our devoted team go above and beyond ensuring the relationships between our residents and their loved ones are built and focused on by making use of our range of extensive facilities and amenities.
By doing so, our wonderful Chef Manager James had organised a special tea party in our very own private dining room for our resident Miriam to meet up with her family which she has not seen in over 2 years.
This was a wonderful opportunity for Miriam to catch up with her loved ones over a delicious spread of homemade sandwiches, cakes, and tea.
Building relationships in a care home is important for our residents for many reasons. It not only has a huge impact on their mental health, but it has many physical benefits too. Having our residents spend time with their loved ones encourages them to participate in physical activities such as leisurely walks around the local area.
Healthy relationships within a care home have the ability to increase our resident's confidence, happiness, and reduce any stress-related symptoms as well as ensure residents are never experiencing feelings of loneliness and isolation.
At Beaumont Manor Care Home our residents are often making use of the many facilities and activities we have to offer including their loved ones. Residents regularly invited their family and friends into our care home joining in on our arts & craft sessions, visiting the local area of Frinton-On-Sea, or celebrating special events and occasions.
